Kotor

Kotor

Each traveller in Montenegro has to see Kotor, that is the unanimous opinion of guidebooks and also of most of the locals. There’s nothing else for me but to visit the picturesque small town located in the bay of the same name. Despite the rainy weather, the pretty and labyrinthine old town was overrun by tourists. But fortunately, most of them seemed to be day-trippers – or before dark they went back to their cruise ship, which was lying in the harbour. Thus, at least from the early evening on I had plenty of time to wander through the almost empty streets of Kotor.
